I have been a huge Tom Ford fan. However, the reviews of his new New York store make me cringe. Is Tom missing the boat? The walls have been brought down in fashion. There are no more velvet ropes. Reporters have had horrible experiences at his store. Worst of all, he is pushing an $8,000 fused suited. The best bespoke here in London can be had for about the same. I keep hearing the old Hall and Oates song about being out of touch and out of time.
